Privacy Policy - Central Command
Effective date: October 8, 2026
Central Command is a private desktop application built and used by The Youthful Cocktail (theyouthfulcocktail.com), a mobile bartending company in Washington State, to manage its own business email, calendar and tasks. It is not offered to the public. This policy explains how Central Command accesses, uses, stores, shares and deletes information, including Google user data.
1. Google user data the app accessesWhen the account owner signs in with Google and grants permission, Central Command uses two Google permissions:- Google Calendar ("calendar.events"): to read the owner's calendar events (title, time, location and notes) to show the schedule inside the app, and to create or delete events that the owner enters or approves.- Google Sheets ("spreadsheets"): to read and edit only the spreadsheets the owner adds to the app's CRM page (for example the company's client and lead list), so the owner can view, add, change and delete rows from inside the app. Central Command does not open, list or change any other spreadsheet.Central Command does not access Gmail, Google Drive files, contacts or any other Google data through these permissions.
2. Other information the app accesses- Business email from the owner's own inboxes, used to show, sort and reply to email.- Tasks, notes and settings the owner enters into the app.
3. How information is usedInformation is used only to provide and improve the app's features for the owner: showing today's schedule and the monthly calendar, adding events, showing and editing the owner's CRM spreadsheets, prioritizing email, highlighting new client inquiries and suggesting tasks. Nothing is created or sent on the owner's behalf without the owner's approval.
4. How information is stored and protectedSpreadsheet data stays in the owner's Google Sheets and is only displayed in the app; it is not copied into another database. All other data is stored locally on the owner's own computer. Google sign-in tokens and passwords are kept encrypted in Windows Credential Manager. Central Command does not run a cloud server and does not keep copies of data anywhere else. No person reads Google user data; it is processed automatically only to show it to the owner.
5. SharingWe do not sell, rent or trade any information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes. To create summaries and task suggestions for the owner, limited text (for example, an event's title and time) may be sent to an AI service provider that processes it only to return the result to the app. Google user data is not used to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine learning models, and is not transferred to anyone for that purpose. We do not otherwise share information with third parties, except where required by law.
6. Google API Services User Data PolicyCentral Command's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Data retention and deletionCalendar events are kept on the owner's computer only for the period the app displays (about six months back and one year ahead) and are refreshed automatically. To remove Central Command's access to Google at any time, visit https://myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove "Central Command". Deleting the app's data folder on the computer permanently removes all locally stored data. To request deletion or ask a question, email theyouthfulcocktail@gmail.com.
8. Changes to this policyIf the way Central Command uses Google user data changes, this page will be updated with a new effective date and the owner will be asked to consent again.
